I plan to work as a Registered Nurse when I have sucessfully recieved my Associates in Nursing Degree. I know that computers are already a big part of the medical field. I know that i will have to know how to enter information into a comupter and how to use the information. Some hospitals use lap tops to enter patients information. For instince, when a patient comes for a check up i will measure their height, weight, teperature, pulse, and blood pressure and enter that information into the computer. Then I might ask the patients some other questions that are already listed on the computer program. I know that this is happenin g, because in my home town, Eupora Mississippi, at the doctors office, this is what they do intead of having to write all of this information on a chart. I believe that computers will continue to play an important role in the medical field. I believe that we will be using computers more in the future and will rely on them more. This may be a good and bad thing, but we will see when that time comes.
